There are some songs in life that just make me believe in magic. If that makes any sense at all. That just put me in this place, in this world, in a space where magic exists because you can just HEAR it in that song.
These songs are rare, usually only a part of a song, and more often than not part of a movies soundtrack.
I discovered my most recent magic song in the newest disney film "Tangled"
(If you haven't seen it yet; DO IT NOW. NOW. kthnxbye)
The song is the score titled 'Campfire' and it's the section about half way through it. The music is mainly whistle... and it just... melts me. I don't know how to put into words but it puts me in such a wonderful place just listening to it. That and it's played at SUCH a wonderful scene in the movie.
the part is 1:16 to 2:36 really though the whole song is great.
other songs in my magic catagory include; "Forbidden Friendship" and "First Flight" from How To TRain Your Dragon "I Do Believe in Faries" from Peter Pan and "August's Raphsody" and "Theme" from August Rush

30 days and nightss...
of Nanowrimo that is.
And I...
failed.
Yes, I only got a mere 30 some thousand words out of this month of writing goodness. Sadness. But you know, I enjoyed every word of it and have a quite a few more to do before my tale is done. So, that's always good.
In other news, Atlantic City concert is coming, which is comforting and saddening as it is the last concert I will see with Mr. Paul Byrom in the crew. I wish him every success in his solo career, but will miss his presence a great deal. I'll enjoy everything he gives us as a solo artist also. He's fantastic. All them lads are.
And after A.C. well, we'll be WAY into christmas season then. Can't beat it! This year has had it's ups and downs like any year would - but the goods DEFINITELY outweighed the downs making this year one of the best. I'll always remember it; it's one of THOSE years. The kind that are looked back on and seen as defining to who I am. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Onward to this weekends adventures with Celtic Thunder

ohyes.
What time is it?
NANOWRIMO TIME!!!
For those who doesn't know. Nanowrimo = National Novel Writing Month.
If you've dreamt of writing a novel and just have never really gotten to typing the whole thing out yet. DO THIS. K?K.
Objective; 50,000 words. 30 Days. Don't edit. Don't revise. Just get it DOWN.
Literary suicide at it's finest. :D
This is my second year and I'm alread doing better because I has PLOT. lol Still, I pray I survive it. I really do. *she says as she stares at the page that only has 500 words typed*
I want 2,000 before bed tonight.
Am I sleeping tonight? Probably not.... XD
It's the most wonderful time of the year!

B-B-Buffalo!
w00t w00t!!
That was a seriously craic filled weekend I just had. For seir. So, lets get the re-cap a rollin!
Saturday morning in Buffalo was the most insanely boring thing in the history of the universe. I'm sorry Buffalo, and Buffalo residents who love their home. I couldn't staaaaaand it. XD So little to do. Thankfully, Meaghann came early and we spent the early afternoon until pub night making cards and laughing. Good times fun stuff.
Then we drive off into the sunset, not really, towards the pub, which is across from the theater... and the buses. We waved to them. :)
And then there was omgs and hugs and more omgs and hugs and yeah. It was beautiful. Like Toronto, but BETTER because by this point I was closer to everyone. So it held more meaning to me. We ate little, because our stomachs were doing summersaults and later breakdancing, and eating just could not be done in that time.
Then we get to go get 400 glowstix and CARRY them to the theater. XD Then we pass them out to peeps. After a calendar was bought.
God, that calendar = epic. freaking. win.
Moving on, the show begins.
HEARTLAND - first introduction to Keith Harkin's James Dean haircut. And I'm like praising God I saw a close up of it, because from my balcony seats it looked like a comb-over. It wasn't. It was gorgeous. I approve. There were no shiny raincoats in this Heartland also, but you know what, I lived. It was stunning - possibly the best version I've heard. :)
BUACHAILL ON EIRNE - Damo, in all his beauty. So, I hear that it's gonna be all Gaelic. I have it IN MY HEAD when the song starts. All the same, we get to "Come by the hills..." and it's NOT... well, not ENGLISH and I flip. In a good way. His voice is just... ysrlkhslkjhsrky. for lack of better words. I love.
THE DUTCHMAN - James Dean!Keith with his scarf of beauty and a good ol' Mcpherson guitar on a prop rock.
Oh, stage = like... you can tell it's gonna be the IE stage eventually. But I like it. There is a rock on the left and there is fake grass, and fake grass atop the eventual IE stage. The sides of it look like the stone sides of some ancient Irish druid circle thang, and the steps were wooden-looking. Yeah. Approved.
Back to James Dean!Keith rocking out, singin' about this guy... this dutchman and his girl, MARGARET. And so Keith sang me name. A ton. so. <3.
JUST A SONG AT TWILIGHT - Damo and Paul. You think 'oh it's the two goofy ones, it'll be so much craic!' NO. it was SO serious. And Paul's mic was too soft, but when Paul and Damo sang together. TOGETHER. I melted into my seat. For sier. It's this WHY DIDN'T THEY DO THIS SOONER!? sorta thaaaaang. I cannot wait to hear that again.
BLACK IS THE COLOR - Much more rogue-ish than what the original sounds like. I loved it. He was being so very badass here. And there is Nicole who is his black haired love. YAY Nicole. I'm not jealous at alllllllll.........
Oh and he did this fist pump thing that changed the lights. Like God. XD
HOME FROM THE SEA - 2nd of the Storm+Boat songs! The whole crew sittin' on the rock, and Damo was like having his personal space invaded and is pushin' Keith and Paul away and they're givin' each other looks. It was great. Song it's self was one of my favorites in this half. It was very stunning, and oh so very Irish/Celtic sounding in all the best ways. It was knocked outa the park.
GOLD AND SILVER DAYS - Ryan and George. Sing about missing their childhood, and innocence. Sounds nice and sweet and lovely and well sung and stunning. And it was.
And I sobbed, like a small child.
..........
NORI - did not help the waterworks. Neil looking like a wounded puppy singing about his lost lady love and how it gets HARDER EVERY DAY. The poor baby, he needed a hug. And I gave him one. ;) So it's good. I'm jealous of this Nori though, cause she sounds pre-tty special. LOL
OVER THE SEA - 3rd storm+boat song. George, and it's grand. And I love it. And I remember nothing of it. But I know I loved it. And it was a really really good song. Like not sad, just epical. I wish I remembered more.
WHISKY IN THE JAR - STUNNING. sejtkshksjtrikjg like seriously. It was totally slower than you're used to. But omgsh freaking EPIC. I adored it. And the guitars! And James Dean!Keith!!! And it was just beautiful. Though I really need lyrics to that, because the ones I caught... they made NO. SENSE. At. All.
RED RED ROSE - Paul. Being romantic. I forgot this song as soon as it was done. I'm sorry, Paul. I really truly am.
PLACE IN THE CHOIR - So they all stand on a different tier of the steps, kinda like Take Me Home (IE version) and then when the chorus is repeated they do a circle... like... Idk how to explain it. But I knew right then. This song WILL kill me.
And it did.
Highlights; Freaking LINE DANCING! Like country hoedown line-dancing. For sier. And then the feet dancing too, and Ryan grinning this really boyish 5 year old doing something cute on stage for his parents kinda smile when he sang the last verse with everyone. IDK if anyone else caught it, but I did. XD Damo's *low* voice and the lads' over dramatic shock. Paul rolled up the stairs.
Really, everything. XD
So that's Heritage. :) Hope you enjoyed this part of the REcap.

In the swing of things.
So school is school-like. But it's going smoothly enough. :) I am getting back into kind of enjoying it, and getting a high B in an honors class is certainly helping that. A friend and I are getting much closer this year than years prior, and that's always a fun thing. Makes things more bearable.
Dance started yesterday and I nearly fainted. Not so fun. I was hoping I was getting over that. My legs are insanely sore currently, but you know, that's okay. I'll get over it. Maybe gain weight in the form of muscle mass - THERE'S an idea! I did miss it, I'll admit. Got my DVD too - great to watch the craic that was this summer's recital. Feels like yesterday.
CT fall tour is starting soon. I love tour season so gosh darn much - especially with new stuff. I get the CT christmas CD a week from today and I truly cannot wait. Celtic Thunder + Christmas. Can anyone say 'dream come true'?LOL Thought so.
So, there was another uneventful look into my life. lol

and so it's begun...
School that is... making my usual lacking of updates lack even further! How wonderful.
But here it is again, another peek into what I'm doing with my time.
I'm writing, as always, and drawing. Both of which are done while I am in school.
My classes have taken a step up but my work ethic has not. I hope to get better at this, but I'm not altogether sure. I'm in a higher English Class, which takes first seat in all of my work, followed shortly by Creative Writing and Algebra. Chemistry and Health don't get a seat at all, and Government, and Japanese don't give homework - yet. When they do, they'll go above Chem and Health too. lol
Off the topic of school, I am impatiently awaiting the start of the Celtic Thunder fall tour, and more importantly my shows in Buffalo and St. Louis. My friend Katie meets Ryan and Keith tomorrow night - I am excited for her.
I still miss Thunderweek with a passion that will never die. But with the thoughts of seeing more of my friends in the near future makes the feeling a little more faded. At least we still all talk, fairly often. I love those girls too much to ever stop communication with them.
This last summer was the best I think I've ever had. I miss it, and will NEVER forget it.
All for now! <3

Summer summer summer
It's not a very exciting time. XD and now I have no glorious ocean to jump in when I'm bored or hot or both. Darn midwest-ness. I could LIVE with you know, a lake, too. Just... WATER. And no, The Mississippi does NOT count.
Anyways, on with life. I have spent my days writing or drawing. More often writing, since I discovered my addiction to it. But I've slowly rekindled my love of random doodles and do that quite often as well. Not as often as writing, which I have learnt I can't go a day without doing. Good stuff...
And because you knew you couldn't escape it, I'm going to mention CT again. LOL
I GET TO MEET RYAN KELLY AND KEITH HARKIN in a matter of weeks!!! THREE to be exact. 3 single weeks and I'll be in a room with the two of them. And numerous other fans. Clearly. but STILL.
and
Yes. Them. *dies*
There will be pictures.

Thunderweek
Also known as the best week of my entire life thus far.
I have NEVER had so much craic as I had in the 6-ish days we spent in those cottages in North Carolina. Singing and dancing and shopping and swimming and touring and driving and repeat...
and not to mention LAUGHING.
I think this will DEFINITELY have to happen again, if for nothing else, for our own sanity. I am also now convinced that as many of us as possible NEED to move to be near each other. We just need to. I haven't been so sad as I have now that it is over - we have to be as close as possible forever and ever from now on. Amen.

whoopsi-daisy!
Been about a month since I shared my life with y'all are you heartbroken? LOL Well, most all of you have Facebooks of which to follow me on, but if not, I guess you would have missed me.
I'm gonna be truthful. Little has happened. 3 days and 3 final days left of sophomore year! That's always wonderful!! I'm sooooooo excited for school to be done. I've really reached that ' I don't care at this point ' point. XD I miss my senior darlings who graduated on friday. :( They were/are wonderful peeps. rawr.
But summer is coming and I am happy for that. I will be VERY happy to sleep again. Recital for dance in early june. Can't wait!!!! Thunderweek in June also! :) Very excited.
On a random note, I am now in possession of a well. beautiful thing it is.
Well, hope y'all enjoyed the little look into my life again. Not TERRIBLY exciting.

BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVER.
Okay, let's start from the beginning of the 11th of March. I wake up with a yucky cough that I just couldn't shake, as well as being relatively moody the night before... Not sure how today is gonna go. Didn't do any of my homework either >.<
But that is quickly tossed aside as I arrive at school and get my friends serenading me with Happy Birthday Sweet 16 and my friend Lauren presenting me with a tiara I had to wear all day. Twas fun getting odd looking for people as well as being addressed as 'princess' by my bio teacher. Good stuff so it was. That and having a fairly easy day in all of my classes.
Got a lovely dinner, a lovely cake and some lovely lovely lovely prezzies from my family. Always good. Also got hundreds upon hundreds of wishes from all of my online buddys. How many people can say they got Happy Birthdays from every area of the u.s. or thereabouts. plus some of canada!!
Anyways, that was most of the day. Now we get to the night.
So Sarah wants to skype me, and then so does Katie, and Meaghann, and Erin, and then Mindy, and Bern, and Esther and Anna and Helena, and Heather, and Amy, and Beth and Tony... and soon we have the most massive skype conversation I've ever been a part of is occurring. At one point they all tried singing me Happy Birthday... it kinda failed. But the thought is what counts. I felt very loved.
So then, Katie goes quiet, and then comes back squealing "OMG I TALKED TO GEORGE!"
Now it seemed our other friend Trina was in Denver working the phones at the CT pledge drive there. And she gave the number to Katie saying if she called and said she already pledged (which isn't a lie, she DID pledge, just to her OWN pbs station :p ) she could ask to talk to George or Ryan, who were at the station that night. So she did.
Now how can I pass THIS up?
So after a few tries I've called and who do I get to talk to but GEORGE DONALDSON! Who I get a happy birthday from!! How amazing is that!? That one of the objects of my fandom has wished ME... MEEEEEEEE a happy 16th birthday!!!
I'm STILL on a high from it!
Best. Birthday. Ever.

Best early birthday present... ever.
^from my birthday party on the 6th... The day after said party I got THE greatest early birthday present in the history of basically forever.
CELTIC THUNDER. FOX THEATRE. OCTOBER 22ND. Guess who has not only tickets to see the show - but MEET AND GREETS!?
Yeah, that was a silly question; ME!!!!!!!!
If it weren't for an awesome summer planned out I'd want it to be totally and completely GONE right now. ^_^

Birthday Month!!!
My science teacher told me today that march is much more of a birthday MONTH for me, much more than a mere day, that is for sure!
The first weekend this month of March I will have my birthday party. Movie marathons and other wonderfulness shall be had. I am incredibly excited.
The day after that, I will be getting tickets to the fall show of It's Entertainment and all of it's Celtic Thunder goodness. Hopefully Meet & Greets too... that would be right fantastical, so it would.
The following thursday I have my tra-la-la-la-la-la-la-la happy birthday sweet sixteen! Can hardly believe it. 15 doesn't feel like long ago.
That friday through the whole next week I have SPRING BREAK, Alabama, and St. Patrick's Day!
Can't get a better month than that, I'd say.

It's Entertainment... and other things
It's Entertainment IS entertainment. I do not believe I need to say more. It gave me SO many Toronto flash-backs! LOVE.
soo... yes, IE made this month, but you knew that without my saying.
Other things enjoyed this month;
- A fair few snow days. With little Snow. YAY for wimpy schools!!
- A research paper about The Troubles in Northern Ireland. My Irish fanatic and history buff were both pleased.
- Writing more short stories. Always good stuff.
- Crazy epic 3-way skype conversations with my two pen-pals.
- My momsie's birthday!!! ^_^
