with these posts on Miyazaki movies. so I'm gonna post another one. Here are just some of my absolute favorite scenes from certain movies (both of them are the ending scene)

I especially love the second one (Princess Mononoke) because this entire movie up until the point your watching has been bloody and everything just gets worse and worse throughout and suddenly it ends all happy.  

Joe Hisaishi

When I decided to post about my favorite Miyazaki film I went scouring the internet for the score from the movie. It was then I remembered all the fantastic music all of Miyazaki's movies have. Thanks to the wonderful composer Joe Hisaishi.  Here are 3 movies with fantastic scores by him (I'm only posting 2 songs per movie). These are gorgeous.

Movie - Howl's Moving Castle

One of my favorite movies by Japanese director Hayou Miyazaki. Plus one of my favorite movie's based off of a book. The story line is simpler in the movie but just as sweet. The artwork is absolutely beautiful. It's fantastic, and I really recommend it. Here is the trailer. I think it'll make you wanna see the movie.

Like the title said I'm posting about my favorite music and arts (both art like drawing and painting and arts like plays, musicals, movies and dance)

Drawing

Drawing is probably my biggest obsession , and longest lasting. I've liked to draw for as long as I can remember. I really only started to get what I consider 'good' in the fifth grade, I've gotten a lot better since then though. My cousins, Nina especially, have always liked watching me draw, and I like drawing for them too; it's nice to get showered with compliments every now and then.

I normally do colored sketches but some look better in black and white like that one. That is one of my favorite black and white drawings. I normally like to sketch on lined paper,  it's easier to draw people that way.

I'm only really good at people, and, for the most part, girls. I've have been getting a whole lot better at guys lately too. I'll upload a good picture of a guy or couple that I've drawn someday. I'll also upload one of my colored pictures sometime soon too. I like those better.

Yes, my friends. I love them all a lot. And here they are;

Katie, Emily, Liz and I normally make up what we call 'our group' but everyone in this picture is part of it too. Plus some who couldn't be in there. My best friend Ben (who is moving), and our friend Dylan, who moved before this photo was taken.

All my friends are really really fun people to be around. They rock!

'bout my blog

I can't believe I'm doin' this... This blog is really mainly about anime, which I love and, as you can see by my blog title am obsessed with. I'm obsessed with a lot of things, but mainly anime. I'll post about things I really really like, and occasionally things I really really hate. I hope I don't bore you all.
By the way Magii is the Japanese spelling of my name; Maggie.
